Sigma Delta Tau is making history as we celebrate 100 years of Sisterhood!

I am confident you share the same gratitude for Sigma Delta Tau as I do for helping to shape us into the women we are today. I am thankful for the wonderful friendships, mentors, and ongoing opportunities to guide our sisters as they grow as empowered women.

As a Past National President, I am so very honored to be celebrating this milestone with you. I can only imagine the immense pride our founders would feel embarking on our centennial year with 65,000 initiated women we are honored to call our sisters. One of those founders, Regene Freund Cohane, was a mentor for me and her ideals continue to influence my work with Sigma Delta Tau. Regene is just one of many women who I will be honoring this holiday season as part of the Celebrating Empowering Women initiative with the Sigma Delta Tau Foundation.

The Celebrating Empowering Women initiative invites you to honor the distinctive women in your life including lifelong Sigma Delta Tau sisters, supportive family members, mentors, friends, and all confident empowered women who have influenced you. For each woman honored with a donation of $20 or more now through December 31, the Sigma Delta Tau Foundation will mail a card to the empowering woman being honored, extending your gratitude for guiding you to the person you are today.

The best part is that your tribute gives back to SDT! Every donation supports programs for our youngest sisters, including leadership development, life skills preparedness, and academic assistance. I encourage you to give now with a donation online and the Foundation will get your card in the mail right away!
