Registration is now open for Sigma Delta Tau’s National Convention, which will take place June 27-30 in New Orleans, Louisiana!

General Overview

During Convention, we will reconnect, celebrate and learn in the following ways:

  • Meeting or reconnecting with sisters from all across the United States
  • Learning from inspiring speakers
  • Shaping the Society’s future through leadership elections
  • Recognizing the achievements of our chapters and sisters through our awards
  • Becoming inspired by our sisterhood and our amazing members
  • And some big organization updates while we’re in the Big Easy!

Event Speakers

Keynote Speaker: Jenn Sherman

Our 2024 Convention Keynote Speaker is Jenn Sherman! As Peloton’s very first cycling instructor, Jenn (Omega-Syracuse) came to NYC from her hometown in New Jersey, where she’d been selling out studios for years. Jenn brings a focused intensity to every class she teaches, showing members what they’re made of with her empowering playlists you just can’t help but sing along to. Being a mom of two college students and an alum of Sigma Delta Tau, Jenn is uniquely positioned to speak to all ages about motivation and drive towards one’s goals. 

Candice Perilstein

Candice Perilstein is the Associate Director of Jewish and Campus Partnerships at the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), working to expand ADL’s reach with Jewish communal campus organizations across the country through partnerships and advocacy efforts. Joining ADL in 2019, Candice previously served as the Associate Regional Director for ADL’s Florida office. No stranger to the campus space, prior to ADL she held positions with Hillel at Vanderbilt University, as well as on the headquarters staff at Zeta Beta Tau as Director of Growth. Candice is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha, was a leadership consultant for two years immediately after college and continues to serve as an advisor for the Miami chapter.

Christina Parle

Christina Parle (she/they) is an equity, inclusion, and diversity educator and consultant with her company, Social Responsibility Speaks, and currently serves as the Director of Student Life at Avila University. Christina’s career experience is in student development, accountability, and fraternal organizations. Christina has served on the Association for Student Conduct Administration’s Board of Directors for six years and is currently the Past President. Much of her work is rooted in unlearning, conflict resolution, and effective communication. Christina’s particular interest is in language and its impacts.

Dr. Mari Ann Callais

Dr. Mari Ann Callais has worked in higher education for more than 25 years. She has served as an assistant professor at Mississippi State University, The Director of Student Organizations & Fraternity/Sorority Life at Southeastern Louisiana University and worked in corporate o-campus student housing. She now serves as the Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives for Delta Delta Delta Fraternity and a speaker for The ForCollegeForLife Speaking Agency. Mari Ann is a Past National President of her sorority Theta Phi Alpha. Having presented hundreds of workshops and keynotes, she believes in the power of community, understands the power of belonging, and believes all humans have the right to succeed and be treated with respect.
