Sigma Delta Tau SDT Launches New Website; Refreshes Brand Logo and Visuals

Sigma Delta Tau (“SDT”) is pleased to announce the launch of its new website and updated brand elements, including the logo. The website features a new design and site navigation, as well as responsive design to make the site compatible with a variety of devices. The revised logo reflects a change to the wordmark, as well as an updated color palette.

“We are very excited to unveil the brand and website to kick-start 2015,” said Debbie Snyder, Executive Director. “There are so many exciting things happening, from developing new colonies to our upcoming centennial celebration, it’s a great time to inject some new energy into our brand.”

“While we were undergoing research and development for the website, it was through surveys and conversations with select collegians and alumnae of the Sorority that we heard the desire to refresh our brand to make it more welcoming and energetic, and more reflective of the sorority’s diverse and growing membership,” said Marnie Winders, Director of Communications.

While the logo was introduced in 2010, SDT decided to keep it virtually the same, simply updating the color palette and the wordmark. The refresh brings a more modern and energetic look to the logo. With this refresh to the logo and color palette, supporting style elements (including chevron, star, drop and rose patterns) have also been incorporated and will provide a unified look for all communications.

The new website reflects the refreshed, more vibrant brand, while also bringing a more user-friendly experience through its design and site navigation. The home page features new navigation links based on the visitor’s needs, and highlights key stories and new items through bold photography and links to pages within the site, as well as features a social media stream. There are several new enhancements throughout the website, including an interactive chapter locator, a Social Wall (showing the most recent posts from all social media channels), an enhanced Blog and news feed, and the ability to securely collect form data and payment directly through the website.

The brand refresh and website design were done by Shelle Design Incorporated out of Rushville, Ind.
