Counting Down to Leadership School 2016

By SDT Headquarters,

SDT LS 16 Logo_whSigma Delta Tau Leadership School is quickly approaching, and we could not be more excited to see our empowered collegians, dedicated volunteers, and special guests. Leadership School is a unique opportunity to network with sisters across the country and learn lessons to bring back to your chapters from incredibly smart women. It is a place to learn, lead, and love SDT even more than you already do!

The weekend includes amazing keynotes by Tina VanSteenbergen and T.J. Sullivan, as well as engaging sessions by our talented volunteers. This year, we will be installing a new National Board of Directors, so you will be a part of a special piece of SDT history. You will also be a part of the Centennial kick off! Our Centennial Team will be sharing information on how you can celebrate 100 years of SDT sisterhood over the next year leading up to our Centennial Celebration Weekend in June 2017 in NYC.

Our collegians will have time to learn from their peers on the Collegiate Leadership Team, and our volunteers will have special training that will allow them to serve our chapters and sorority to the beSDT of their ability. We are looking forward to the special time set aside for our collegians and volunteers to work together and set goals for the coming academic year.

The weekend is filled with so many exciting opportunities, and we encourage each attendee to make the most of her time at #SDTLS16! Introduce yourself to a sister you’ve never met. Ask a volunteer why she spends her time giving back to SDT. Don’t shy away from the tough questions, and be open to advice and insight from your sisters. We promise that the weekend will be extremely beneficial and motivating! We are looking forward to each of you being a part of #SDTLS16!

See you in Newark, New Jersey next week!

Megan Lilly and Elizabeth Watson
Co-Chairwomen of #SDTLS16
