Watch the Recording

Nutrition and health information is confusing! Research seems to always be changing, and everyone has an opinion about food: what to eat, when to eat, how to eat, etc. Let’s break down the trends and chat about what’s real, what’s not, and how to tell the difference.

Lauren Newman is a nutrition expert, occasional blogger, speaker, and dietetic intern at The University of Texas at Austin. Lauren is passionate about strong coffee, food puns, and breaking down common misconceptions about food and nutrition to empower individuals to have a healthier relationship with food and their bodies. She graduated with her BS in nutrition and dietetics from The University of Texas where she was an active member of the Tau chapter, serving several leadership roles over the years. Visit Lauren online at www.laurennewmanrd2be.com or on instagram @gofeedyourself_.
