Day of Service

SDT Alumnae Made a Difference in October!

Sigma Delta Tau alumnae participated in several service projects around the country. Thank you to everyone who participated in this annual fall activity. Sisters did book drives, planted trees, cleaned beaches and parks, and participated in a community walk. Thank you for rededicating yourselves to our commitment to service!

From the Cleveland team: “With handfuls of disinfecting wipes, Cleveland-area SDTs cleaned 600 books. About 15 SDTs gathered to reminisce and have fun, and do two community service projects. In one project, we prepared gently used books that will be donated to libraries in the Cleveland Public Schools. The effort is part of “Building Bridges with Books,” a project of the National Council of Jewish Women, Cleveland section. In the other project, we made 50 colorful and creative holiday cards to go with gifts for hundreds of local children and teens in need for Bellefaire JCB’s Holiday Gift Drive.”
