Sigma Delta Tau’s Collegiate Leadership Team brings together involved, excited and experienced collegiate women to collaborate with peers and volunteers while contributing to SDT on a national level. Members of CLT are selected after a highly competitive application and interview process.
By being part of CLT, Sigma Delta Tau members gain:
- Opportunities to meet sisters from across the country and form a relationship via in person experience (deepen sorority sister relationships beyond chapter)
- The ability to contribute to the National Organization via feedback/projects supporting the Board of Directors’ strategic plan
- Knowledge on “what’s next” after graduation and how to stay involved locally with their chapter and National Organization
- Meaningful and transferrable skills and experiences that can be used in collegiate and professional life via:
- Opportunities to collaborate with people from different backgrounds and experiences (i.e. different chapters, university types, regions)
- Learning how to properly manage time between multiple deliverables (school, CLT, chapter, etc.)
- Experience of working on a long-term project via a semester long project and overcoming highs and lows of a long-term commitment
- A variety of opportunities to provide critical feedback in an effective manner
To be eligible for CLT, all applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be entering their senior (or final) year of university as of the next fall semester
- Must be in good academic, financial and membership standing within their local chapter during the application process and while serving on CLT
