CARMEL, IN – Sigma Delta Tau Sorority is pleased to announce the appointment of alumna Alex Chacon (Gamma Eta–South Florida) as the Membership Growth Manager for the National Office
Alex Chacon is thrilled to begin her role as Membership Growth Manager for Sigma Delta Tau. With many years of experience as an SDT member, two-year consultant, and national volunteer, Alex has witnessed firsthand the importance of building strong, engaged communities. Recruitment is her true passion, and she’s excited to bring her knowledge and energy to this new position. Prior to joining SDT full-time, Alex served as a Senior Program Coordinator at Florida International University, where she managed the Panhellenic community, oversaw philanthropic initiatives, and played a key role in recruitment efforts. Her expertise in leadership development, community building, and program management has prepared her to contribute to Sigma Delta Tau’s continued growth and success, fostering a positive, inclusive environment for its membership and helping the organization expand its reach and impact. Alex earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from University of South Florida and a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University. Alex is an alumna of our Gamma Eta – South Florida chapter and currently resides in Miami, Florida.
