How to Join
There are several ways to become a member of Sigma Delta Tau. The most common way to join is through primary or formal recruitment on any campus where we have an active chapter. Primary recruitment processes are managed by the College Panhellenic Association on campus. We encourage you to seek out the Fraternity/Sorority Life Office and College Panhellenic Association on your campus to learn more about the schedule and registration deadlines for recruitment.
Is a structured recruitment process overwhelming or not aligned with the sorority experience you are looking for? More often than not, there are also opportunities to join Sigma Delta Tau through continuous open bidding (COB) or informal recruitment. When permitted, COB/informal recruitment typically provides prospective members an opportunity to join through intimate settings and personalized relationship development with members. COB events may consist of sisterhood events, coffee dates, information sessions and more. Chapters often post on their Instagram pages about informal recruitment opportunities – if you’re interested, be sure to check it out and DM the chapter for more information!
