The Sigma Delta Tau Conference Internship Program brings together enthusiastic, engaged collegiate members to collaborate with peers, staff, and volunteers in support of the 2026 Sigma Delta Tau National Convention. Conference Interns will gain meaningful hands-on experience in event operations, communication, and leadership while representing the National Organization at one of SDT’s largest and most inspiring gatherings. This selective opportunity offers a behind-the-scenes look at how Convention comes together and how teamwork, professionalism, and sisterhood power the experience.

Conference Interns will support behind-the-scenes event logistics, provide outstanding customer service to Convention attendees, create and curate engaging social media content, and build meaningful relationships with sisters from across the country.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be an initiated, active sophomore or junior member in good academic, financial, and membership standing
  • Cannot be serving as your chapter’s delegate (Chapter President) or alternate delegate (Vice President of Membership Recruitment) at Convention
  • Must be available for 1–2 virtual meetings prior to Convention and for the full in-person experience in Washington, DC from June 14–21, 2026 (Pre-Convention Training and National Convention)
  • Demonstrated professionalism, teamwork, maturity and enthusiasm for representing Sigma Delta Tau
