Alumnae Awards

Sigma Delta Tau is proud to have so many outstanding Chapter Advisors and Volunteers who provide their time, talent and treasure to supporting our Sigma Delta Tau chapters, and we believe they deserve to be recognized!

Each year, the Chickie Loewenstein Outstanding Chapter Advisor Award is presented to the Chapter Advisor who has performed outstanding volunteer service to a chapter and the Outstanding Volunteer Award is presented to a volunteer who has exhibited outstanding service to the National Organization. Nomination instructions are shared directly with collegiate members and current volunteers via email and monthly newsletters during the spring semester.

Beyond volunteer recognition, Sigma Delta Tau also seeks to recognize our outstanding and notable alumnae.

Sigma Delta Tau Outstanding Alumna Award

The Sigma Delta Tau Outstanding Alumna Award was created in 1952 to recognize exceptional alumnae who have made significant contributions in their chosen career field, have donated volunteer service on behalf of humanity or education, or have been recognized for outstanding leadership and community service.
