By SDT Headquarters,

kristen jackson_webThe Sigma Delta Tau Foundation (“Foundation”), which provides educational, leadership and scholarship funding to Sigma Delta Tau Society, is proud to announce Kristen Jackson as the new Director of the Foundation.

“For the Foundation to grow and continue to support our growing sisterhood, we determined that a full-time Director focused on development and fundraising is imperative,” said Nancy Spire, President of the SDT Foundation. “Kristen brings a great deal of experience in managing all aspects of the development process and we’re so excited to have her join our team.”

Kristen is responsible for all aspects of fundraising activities, partnerships, expanding outreach initiatives, and overseeing the day-to-day operations and communications. She will work closely with the Foundation’s Board of Trustees to implement a strategic fundraising strategy, including the new $100 for 100 Campaign which recognizes donors who give $100 or more ($1 for each year) in honor of SDT’s Centennial Celebration Year.

“I look forward to guiding the Centennial Celebration campaign to success, as well as increasing overall giving and growing financial support for SDT members,” said Kristen.

Kristen previously served as the Director of Advancement and Foundation for Kappa Delta Pi, a Community Representative for American Cancer Society, and Director of Advancement for Muncie Children’s Museum. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from Ball State University. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and has a Certificate in Fund Raising Management from Indiana University Lily Family School of Philanthropy.
