Scholastic Honor Society

Academic excellence is one of Sigma Delta Tau’s cornerstones, represented by the diamond in our Torch badge. Our chapters are regularly recognized for exceeding campus, all-Greek and all-women GPAs.

The Order of the Lapis program recognizes Juniors and Seniors who have shown personal excellence in scholarship.

Criteria:

• Must be a member of SDT for one full semester (not including new member period)

• Juniors must have completed 60 credit hours (with at least 24 at current institution) and have an overall GPA of 3.7 or higher

• Seniors must have completed at least 88 credit hours (with at least 24 at current institution) and have an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher

• Include a current resume, transcript and letter from chapter VP of Scholarship verifying membership in good standing and GPA

If you received this as a junior, you MUST reapply as a senior.
