Gamma Pi GNO to Support Girls Achieve Grapeness

By SDT Headquarters,

Tampa GNOThe Gamma Pi chapter at University of Tampa organized a “Girls Night Out” event to support our philanthropy partner Jewish Women International (JWI), as well as support women’s health and wellness. The event was designed to promote the Girls Achieve Grapeness custom OPI nail polish on sale throughout October as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. All sales from the nail polish go directly to JWI’s domestic violence awareness programming.

The chapter took the idea of girls getting pampered when they get a manicure to the next level. They planned a spa event, complete with clay masks and plenty of Girls Achieve Grapeness nail polish. The goal was to create a meaningful experience that made women comfortable in their own skin and feel pretty. Gamma Pi sisters decorate the spa in SDT colors and brought letters for women to take photos in their masks. The event was open to both sisters and the community.

The organizer of the event, Gamma Pi sister Stephanie Biernat, says, “The most fun part of the event was being able to come together with my closest friends and just pamper ourselves! I had so much fun planning the spa night because I knew, not only was it raising money for our JWI, it left girls feeling empowered in their own skin.”
