National Scholarship Program

The Sigma Delta Tau Foundation is pleased to offer annual educational scholarships to assist outstanding undergraduate and alumnae sisters with tuition expenses as they pursue their educational goals. Need-based and merit-based awards are available as well as 14 scholarships supporting specific Sigma Delta Tau chapters.
Scholarships are funded through the generosity of our donors, including alumnae, collegiate leaders, chapters and friends of the Foundation.


The 2024 application portal is open through March 17, 2024


General Scholarship Eligibility:

  • Undergraduate members of Sigma Delta Tau in good standing with their chapters or alumnae members who completed their undergraduate experience in good standing with the chapter and organization.
  • Full-time students enrolled in an accredited institution pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
  • Applicants must be an initiated member of SDT for at least one year.
  • Applicants who have already received two SDT Foundation scholarships are ineligible.
  • Applications will not be considered once the portal closes on March 17, 2024.
