Level UP: Setting the Tone for Inclusion on Campus
Chevara Orrin- Keynote Speaker
We are all part of a bigger story. Despite our seemingly obvious differences, we are connected by common threads of humanity. Oftentimes, it’s easier to stay within our comfort zones and the safety of what’s familiar. However, growth comes from exploring the uncomfortable and challenging ourselves to be curious about others’ unique experiences. Why does diversity matter on a college campus, anyway? As the daughter of a white, Jewish mother and black father, Chevara has explored intersectionality and navigated the complexity of cultural identity since childhood. She inspires audiences with her extraordinary journey of humorous and tragic family stories and a passion to help people discover common connections.
