Alpha Epsilon Phi and Sigma Delta Tau, in collaboration with Chabad On Campus International, have joined together to honor the legacy of our Jewish founders with a virtual Purim celebration. The holiday of Purim commemorates when the Jewish people living in Persia were saved from extermination by a young Jewish woman named Esther. Alumnae and collegians are invited to join together for an evening of baking Hamantashen with each other. Hamantashen are traditional cookies you can customize with the filling of your choice. Mrs. Henya Matusof, Co-Director of the Chabad at the University of Wisconsin, will host our event sharing tales of women’s empowerment throughout the evening. Our organizations are committed to enriching the lives of women and this event is the perfect opportunity to invite the important women in your life to join you in the kitchen.
