Delta Epsilon Offers Free Manicures

By SDT Headquarters,

DeltaEpsilon_1_smWhat better way to show off your Girls Achieve Grapeness! nail polish than with a fresh manicure? The Delta Epsilon chapter at Emory University tapped into the “grapeness” on their campus by giving women who purchased the limited edition OPI nail polish a professional manicure.

The chapter realized that many college women did not have the time or money to treat themselves to an afternoon at the salon, so the sisters set up a table outside during a very busy time on campus, complete with two hired manicurists. With the purchase of every bottle of Girls Achieve Grapeness, women were offered a free manicure to show off their support for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The women were thrilled to get a manicure in addition to an amazing, new nail polish color!DeltaEpsilon_3_sm

Delta Epsilon Public Relations Chairwoman, Elyssa Brezel, said, “One of the best parts of the event was seeing other students’ reactions to having a mini nail salon in the middle of campus. I think it’s safe to say we were the first organization to bring manicurists to a campus philanthropy event!”

The limited edition OPI Girls Achieve Grapeness nail polish can be purchased throughout the month of October from any Sigma Delta Tau chapter. All proceeds go directly to Jewish Women International’s (JWI) domestic violence awareness and prevention programming.
