Connection Is Creating a Sense of Belonging

Sigma Delta Tau gives a sense of belonging that is unique to our sisterhood, something I’ve been unable to experience anywhere else—and I hope it’s something you feel, too. Our ability to create meaningful relationships gives us the power to connect and invest in people, places, and causes.

When I think of Sigma Delta Tau’s value of connection, I think of how the people I want to share my most important life moments with—happy or difficult—are my sorority sisters. Being a SigDelt has given me meaningful relationships through every stage of my life during and after college: my closest friends who I speak to every day, being Auntie Big to my SDT Little’s young son, standing alongside sisters in their weddings—some of whom were even in different chapters—and now working alongside my mentor on the Board of Directors!
