Now Accepting Applications for the 2018 Alternative Summer Break Trip!
Join us in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, May 27-June 1, 2018, at the Northern Children’s Services
Alternative Spring/Summer Break (ASB) is a six-day, five-night service immersion trip. This experience is designed to be a hands-on opportunity for sisters to learn more about themselves, others, and the world around them. The charitable organizations we are working with serve individuals who have been affected by child abuse. Sisters will be able to participate in programs that support families and heal children who have been abused or neglected. Sisters will also participate in nightly group discussion and reflection activities. The trip can accommodate up to 8 sisters. These sisters will be selected from various chapters across the country.
Past participants have stated:
“I thought it was such a rewarding alternative spring break and having the opportunity to educate, work, and contribute to our philanthropy and doing it with sisters on a whole different level that chapters are not accustom to was amazing.”
“I had an amazing experience on SDT Alternative Spring Break. This was such a life changing experience for everyone that participated. I want to share with future sisters on what an impact they can make in the world!”
There is a program fee of $400 per person. A $75 deposit is needed to secure your spot on the trip immediately following your acceptance into the program, due by March 2, 2018. The balance will be due by March 30, 2018.
